Historic Loveland Castle

Starting this Saturday the Loveland Castle will be holding knights tournaments.

There will be games, crafters, shows, and music.

The castle will be having this event every second weekend through September.

If you'd like to dress up and join in the fun, then come on out and check it out. Tour the historic castle and search for ghosts.

Pan Fried Bacon Plushies

I just made these fun new characters BACON!!!!

Because anyone knows that bacon makes everything better.

They have such great expressions on all their little faces.
I have angry bacon that hurts your tummy if you eat him.
Scared bacon because he knows eventually he will be a tasty treat.
Excited/happy bacon because he's just damn happy to be here because he's bacon.
BACON....BACON....BACON.....
I think I might have made too many pieces of plush bacon, while working on these it made me want bacon so bad and I can't eat it because I'll eat the angry bacon and it will upset my tummy.

Historic Loveland Castle

Last Saturday night we went to Loveland Castle for a ghost hunt with Northern Kentucky Paranormal Group. They had new equipment to share with everyone and they were so fun and friendly. We had such a great time talking with new people.
Sir Fred of the Castle was speaking to me about some shows they are starting up in April and are going to run them through September every second weekend of the month. They are going to have a min. Renaissance Festival the whole rest of the year. This is a great opportunity for local artists as well as new future rennies. Please come and check out the brand new show and tour the castle it's awesome.

Healthy Breakfast Drink

Here's a healthy drink to boost your energy in the morning without coffee.

Ingredients;
1 cup rice milk
1 large banana
1/2 a scoop of vanilla protein
1 small container of Stonyfield Farms's O'Soy yogurt (I used strawberry)
1/4 cup smashed walnuts
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (or to taste)optional
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (or to taste) optional
1-2 ice cubes

Put all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
This is an adapted recipe from Dannon yogurt, but b/c I can't have milk products I changed a few things around. This is very good and if you're a milk fan and not sure of the texture, this is a great alternative to milk. I used to love milk but as I get older milk doesn't like me so much so I'm trying out some new things and this really is tasty and I can't tell that it isn't milk.
